Macherfestival Real Life Guys
Macherfestival (founded by Real Life Guys – the largest DIY YouTube channel in Germany)
The Maker Festival – a DIY experience blending workshop, show, and community spirit, founded by the Real Life Guys – should not just take place, but be brought to life through media.
Our team was responsible for the entire media support of the festival, from the website to design, content production, and distribution.
We significantly contributed to the development of the visual identity, designed the website as a central hub for community and ticketing, and ensured that the festival resonated online just as powerfully as it did on-site.
In parallel, we built awareness and community hype in advance, produced content for sponsors, and were live during the event to publish highlights in real-time.
Because at a festival that thrives on excitement, one thing matters most:
Speed in delivery, so emotions can arise when they are at their peak.
Challenge & Solution
The festival was not only experienced, it was shared, celebrated, and continued to live on online.
The community cheered along, shared, reacted, and created reach that extended far beyond the event.
The produced content became the leverage for new sponsors who wanted exactly this impact in the following year. While others still struggle with media stress, everything here ran efficiently, stress-free, and operationally relieved, allowing the organizer to focus on the experience, not on the upload.
The aftermovie became a conversion tool that turns emotions into ticket sales.
And because everything was handed over in a structured manner, the effect is not just a one-off; the footage continues to live on, is recycled, re-edited, and reused.
A festival moment that shows lasting impact.
Managing many sponsors usually means many service partners — but the festival needed streamlined media support.
We provided a single dedicated team that handled organization end-to-end, avoiding the complexity of multiple providers.
Capturing all on-site moments in real time posed a major logistical challenge.
We split the crew into shooting and editing units so one team captured everything as it happened while the other pulled footage and began editing live.
